This 2.5 oz tearaway washaway stabilizers is ideal for open type embroidery designs on light cottons and linen. They are composed of half water soluble and half non water soluble fibers.
They are easily torn away without distortion when the embroidery is finished and the rest is washed away after an initial wash. However, under the stitches, the threads and stitches are entangled with the non water soluble fibers keeping the embroidery registration tight and looking good. The remaining fibers of the stabilizer around the design will wash out in the laundry. We are also pleased to note that these products are BIODEGRADABLE!
