An earth-friendly tearaway, which is completely biodegradable, is now available from Cotswold Industries. Tearaway Washaway is composed of half water-soluble and half non-soluble fibers. Excess stabilizer is torn away and any remnants are dissolved as soon as the garment is washed. However, underneath the stitches, the threads and non-soluble fibers intertwine to continue to support the embroidery. So registration remains tight and professional looking.
